Зачастую людям, даже попавшим в языковую среду, не говоря уже о тех, кто изучает иностранный язык у себя на родине, бывает очень сложно бороться со своим акцентом. Причин тому много, однако самой существенной, пожалуй, является то обстоятельство, что артикуляционный аппарат, скажем, русских людей, и людей, чьим родным языком является английский, работает по-разному. Для преодоления акцента, для его уменьшения, иными словами - для тренировки артикуляционного аппарата, - существуют специальные фонетические упражнения. Они, в принципе, знакомы нам с детства - это скороговорки. Однако мы привыкли к игровой их функции, в то время, как нельзя недооценивать их эффективность в деле развития артикуляционного аппарата.
